Back in October, when Outreach Vietnam announced an impending website revamp and relaunch, little did we know that almost everyone preferred to read about our work through this blog. The officers decided, instead, to revamp this blog to add a "website" feel -- here is a preview of what to expect in the next few weeks:
1. Page tabs below the header allow easy single-click access to read about Outreach Vietnam (About), Anh Linh Free School, Green Bamboo Shelter, and our newest program, the Sponsor A Child scheme in collaboration with Bridges to Learning. Stay tuned for updates on the newest page -- Service Trips -- which will be the forefront of our blog updates from the end of March.
2. Our partner website and blog links have been moved down below all the posts -- just above the attribution. After reading a post, users will be able to easily view and access the various links that Outreach Vietnam is connected to.
3. All future posts will have page breaks to give users a quick preview of a post before clicking on a post to read the entire post. The number of posts that will appear on a single page will double from three currently, to six.
4. A redesigned sidebar to give a cleaner look and feel to allow easy access to old posts, a new search bar to search the blog, and a redesigned labels gadget to allow users to browse by post subject -- with many more additions on the way!
5. Simplicity. We are adopting a clean look with simple colors.
From all of us at Outreach Vietnam, thank you for your support and we hope to see you on the blog soon!
