Pizza Sales Fundraiser - The Singapore Good, Bad, Cheap, and Not-So-Cheap

$199.90 Singapore dollars -- our total revenue take in just 10 minutes of the opening lunch bell. After realizing Rocky's Pizza could only be delivered from 12:00 and after, the club officers were faced with the task of finding suitable alternatives.

For our second and most recent fundraising activity, Outreach Vietnam sold 12 boxes of pizza (8 Canadian and 4 Sarpino's) to the high school at lunch today. The total cost of the pizza (12 in. medium, half cheese and half pepperoni) amounted to be $164.60 and our net profit came out to be $35.30. Pizza was sold at $2 a slice for Canadian and $3 a slice for Sarpino's.

The cost:
Sarpino's Cheese - $1.675 per slice - $13.40 per pizza
Sarpino's Pepperoni - $1.875 per slice - $15.00 per pizza
Canadian Cheese AND Pepperoni - $1.68 per slice - $13.45 per pizza

The average slice per pizza for all brands and types: $1.728 per slice

The rating:
Sarpino's - Dough and crust quality is significantly better than budget-Canadian pizza, but the pepperoni pizza is on the pricey side
Canadian - A sub-standard quality, budget pizza that is no where near its competition in quality and taste

For the next time:
Sarpino's quality is a lot better and their cheese pizza is actually cheaper than Canadian's. However, for pepperoni pizza, we'll stick with the better value Canadian Pizza. The overall reception seems as if both are selling equally well, despite the 50% markup for Sarpino's.

Final comments:
My personal extension of gratitude to all those involved with the pizza sales today and everyone who managed to buy a slice "of some delicious pizza" as the morning show puts it. Thank you!
