The Meaning of Fall "Break"

Tomorrow marks the beginning of fall break. Simply put, we deserve it. Ideally, the word break should have become synonymous with the term "relaxation" but unfortunately, Outreach Vietnam has work to do -- lot's of work to do.

To our dedicated, loyal members who helped us raise hundreds of dollars in our first quarter of existence -- thank you for your outstanding effort. To the administration who approved our service trip over a single weekend -- thank you for your celerity in the approval process. And to the people running the scene -- this is what fall break means:

1. Calling up travel agencies, hotels, and airlines to snag that perfect price
2. Meetings with the Middle School teachers, principles, and students to set up our club affiliate
3. Buying a hundred cans of our favorite soft drinks in preparation for our next Pizza-Cold Drinks Fundraiser
4. Planning two separate trips for Mr. President to Vietnam in November and December in preparation for our March service trip
