Day 4: Another Farewell

The morning English class students were tasked to write their own autobiographies, with the intention of filming their own personal statements on camera – an effort to document the backgrounds of each student through their own eyes. (Video clips of recorded autobiographies will be posted at a later date).  Below are samples of student autobiographies, used with permission.

Hello! My name’s Loc. I’m 16 years old. I was born and live in HCM city. My hobbies are soccer and playing chess. I want to become a doctor when I grow up. I like Anh Linh School because everyone is very friendly and my teachers teach very well. There are four people in my family. My father is a farmer. My mother is a housewife. My sister is a student and me too. I learn English because it is necessary for me.

Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh

Hello! My name is Oanh. I am 18 years old. I was born in Cambodia, but I live in Vietnam. My hobbies are volleyball with my friends and listening to music when I am sad. I like to each chicken and fish. I like style t-shirt and dress. I want to become a business woman and singer when I grow up. I like Anh Linh school because everyone is very socialble and my teacher teach very well and generous. My family has 4 people. I live with my parents and younger sister. My father is a driver and my mother is cooking in diner. My younger sister and I are student. I learn English because it is necessary and difficult. I plan to do this summer is go to work and I have vacation with my friend in August. (No picture available)
