I have made 7 trips to Ho Chi Minh City in the last two and a half years -- six of which, to work with the Anh Linh Free School, and two of which, to work with the Green Bamboo Shelter as well.
Apart from the usual regularities of going to Vietnam with approximately 10 kg more in luggage weight than what I depart with, this trip is notable for a few reasons:
1. This will be my last trip before departing to college. A big question mark lies ahead for my next trip.
2. This trip will be a time of reflection and closure. Seeing Outreach Vietnam grow from a phone call to a 50 member club in just two years is something I could have never imagined.
In two years, OV has raised more money, recruited more members, organized more trips, and impacted more lives than any other club startup in the history of SAS. And what OV has in store for the future is truly something special.
3. This trip will undoubtedly be the busiest trip for me yet -- a lot of ideas are now coming to fruition and reality.
Stay updated on this blog beginning June 25 for trip updates!
